During the GroupMetrix shopping process, all the rates that would pertain to a group sale are acquired. This includes: Sleeping rooms, Meeting Space, Catering, Internet Access and Audio Visual Equipment.
The GroupMetrix “Aggressive” Price-Shopping Methodology
The Sales Department at each property in a competitive set is shopped for specific meeting parameters.
Once the quotation has been obtained, a follow-up “price-challenge” is made seeking lower prices.
When a reduced follow-up quote is obtained, the GroupMetrix Report is sent by email showing the initial rates offered and the rates offered after price pressure was applied.
GroupMetrix reports include 2 sets of shops for each of 4 competitors every month.
